Links I Love, Vol. 2 | Hearth & Home edition

Hello, Lovely Friends!

How’s your spring going so far? Here in the Pacific Northwest, it’s been very slow to sprung, due in part, I’m sure, to the unusually cold March we’ve endured. No matter the weather, however, spring is likely to bring with it a welcome sense of fresh starts and a tendency toward sprucing up what’s ours around hearth and home. They don’t call it spring cleaning for nothing.

“hearth and home” (def.) — referring to one’s home and family life, evoking warmth and security.

Because we’re planning to move soon(ish)*, my husband and I have called a moratorium on updates and improvements to our home, even cosmetic ones, except for general maintenance and upkeep. But this doesn’t keep me from scooping up tips and tricks for more beautifully decorating my home–especially on the cheap–because this is one way to bless the people I’m called to love and lead. By creating for them a lovely, peaceful place for them to dwell and be.

(*We recently traveled to Tennessee and North Carolina on an exploratory venture. In case you missed it, I shared some pix here.)

I hope you find something practical, inspiring, or just simply fun in this collection of links I love from around the web.
