Thank you for joining me today for the launch of my new “Stories to Celebrate Beauty” website. Welcome!

What does it mean to “Celebrate Beauty”?

Finding God’s beauty in the details of our days, even when circumstances aren’t beautiful.

I believe that this kind of beauty, as found in the loveliness of the world and in people, is both an attribute of God and a servant of God because of how it opens our hearts to His presence. This theme runs strong through the pages of my books, and now I’m bringing it front and center to the pages of this blog.

My purpose here is to inspire you to celebrate beauty in the midst of brokenness so that you can better serve those you’re called to love and lead.

To be honest, when it comes to celebrating beauty, I’m learning as I go. Often I find it so much easier to focus on what’s broken instead of what’s beautiful in the midst of it. I write in order to process the ways the Lord continues to grow me in this regard. So if you struggle as I do, know that you’re not alone. This new website is designed to offer godly encouragement for all Christian women who are called by God to love and lead.

I hope you’ll take a minute to discover what’s new around here. The “Home” and “My Story” pages are great places to start. You’ll also see that you can still access all the archived book reviews and content that’s been collecting over the last decade, as well as new features, such as buying signed copies of my books with a couple quick clicks of a button.

Moving forward, you’ll find inspirational stories and practical tips designed to help you celebrate what’s beautiful in life so that you may overflow that goodness onto others.

One way I find beauty in brokenness is to look for it in the little things. So I’m always on the lookout for lovely books, podcasts, people, news, and tips for healthy soul care to share with you. Things like

• simple, wholesome recipes
• tips for making a lovely home
• beautiful truths found in God’s Word
• favorite podcasts & reads from around the web
• life hacks and links I love
• and…as always…good books
