Meet Me in Enumclaw on Saturday!
Hey Friends!
Quick note to let you know of an upcoming author event! This Saturday, May 13 from 1 – 4 p.m., I’ll be signing books at Romans 8:28 Books in the heart of beautiful downtown Enumclaw at the foot of Mt. Rainier.
That’s the day before Mother’s Day, in case you didn’t notice 😉, and rumor has it that a whole bunch of Enumclaw shops will be hosting unique events in honor of the occasion.
If you’ve never been, you’ll discover that Romans 8:28 Books is a sweet, browsable little shop packed with great books and charming gift ideas. I love any excuse to stop in. Plus, it always feels good to do a bit of “shop local.”
Her Memory of Music and Shadow Sister will both be on sale for $20 each — that’s the lowest price going — and of course, as usual, all proceeds go to International Justice Mission.
If you have already-purchased copies of either and would simply like me to sign them, am happy to do so!
I myself am looking forward to meeting author Joann Wittler, who will also be signing copies of her newly released memoir A Woman’s Journey to Becoming Mother 2 Many. Could make a great gift for a mom in your life.
So if you live locally I hope you’ll come say hi! Make it a Mother’s Day outing, or just a Girls’ Day Out. Would love to see you there!
❤️ Katherine
Katherine, I wished I lived locally and could come to support you – your books make lovely gifts! (Someone would need to tell me how to pronounce Enumclaw, though.) 🙂
Haha! Well, thank you, Maggie! I wished you lived locally too — or I locally to you! 😉 — for reasons other than this! The latter may happen, Lord willing! Meanwhile, here it is: EE-num-claw. Pretty much just how it looks, and it means “thundering noise.” Whether that has anything to do with the town’s being nestled at the base of a volcano, I couldn’t say. Thanks for stopping in virtually today, even if you can’t do it in person. ❤️
